KoldReach Guide
How to Connect Gmail to KoldReach
What you'll accomplish
KoldReach connects Gmail from the authenticated Settings page. A successful connection is shown in the Gmail section as Connected and enables the sending and follow-up workflows that depend on Gmail. You never need to share a Google password with KoldReach.
Before you begin
- A KoldReach account
- Access to the Gmail account you intend to send from
- Permission to authorize the requested Google scopes
Step-by-step instructions
- 1
Open Gmail settings
Sign in to KoldReach and open Settings from the sidebar. Find the Gmail connection section. Depending on the current state, the action is labeled Connect Gmail or Reconnect Gmail.
- 2
Start the Google authorization
Select Connect Gmail and complete the Google consent screen. Check the Google account shown before approving. If your organization manages Google Workspace, an administrator may need to allow the app.
- 3
Confirm the return state
After Google redirects back, return to Settings if necessary and confirm the status reads Connected. If it still says Not Connected, do not assume sending is enabled; retry the flow or use the displayed error.
- 4
Test with a permitted address
Before enrolling a list, send a test to an address you control using a small sequence. Confirm the message arrives and that the activity appears in the appropriate KoldReach activity or sequence view.
- 5
Disconnect deliberately
Use Disconnect in Settings only when you intend to stop KoldReach from using the account. Reconnecting may be required after a revoked Google grant or changed account permissions.
Tips and troubleshooting
Wrong Google account
Cancel the consent flow and restart it with the intended account. Check the account identity on Google’s screen rather than relying on a remembered browser session.
Sending while disconnected
People actions can surface a Gmail connection message. Return to Settings, verify Connected, and then retry.
Sharing OAuth credentials
Never send OAuth tokens, cookies, or consent details to support channels. Revoke access in Google Account settings if credentials are exposed.
Completion checklist
- □ The intended Google account was selected
- □ Consent completed
- □ Settings shows Connected
- □ A controlled test was successful
- □ Access can be revoked if no longer needed
